Post Jam - Final Version. What next?


I just released an update about my game. This is most likely the last update for the "Post Jam" version.

However, I still believe in the potential of this game, and there is still a lot of things I want to add, so development continues!

Patch Notes:

  • slightly reworked and expanded the map, as well as the difficulty curve of the game
  • Locations:
    • added a new location, "Magic Bin", to remove a card you choose from your deck
    • observatory now offers a rare chest and a Magic Bin (except the first one that offers only paths)
    • visiting the keymaster will now force the player to remove a card from their deck (this to prevent the player getting softlocked when reaching a locked door)
  • Cards:
    • added a new common card, "Baby Priest"
    • reworked "Piston"
    • removed a bear and added a ferret to the initial hand, also removed ferrets from the common card pool
    • Buffed Big Slime (it might seem like a nerf but it's not if you get the right synergies!)
  • Quality of Life:
    • after buffing/nerfing a card, the size is rounded so that it always ends with a 0 or a 5
    • fixed some graphic bugs
    • increased text size on card description
    • improved many animations
